1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the IRU Vote platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including voters, election organizers, observers, and administrators.

2. Description of Service

IRU Vote is a secure digital voting platform developed and operated by IRU Business Group Ltd (Gahanga, Kicukiro, Kigali, Rwanda). The platform enables organizations to create, manage, and conduct elections digitally, with features including voter registration, candidate management, real-time monitoring, and results reporting.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • Each user is permitted one account. Creating duplicate or fraudulent accounts is prohibited.

4. Voter Obligations

  • Voters must only cast votes using their own verified credentials.
  • Attempting to vote more than once in the same election is strictly prohibited.
  • Voters must not share their voting access links or credentials with anyone else.
  • Any attempt to manipulate, interfere with, or compromise an election process will result in immediate account suspension and may be subject to legal action.

5. Organizer Obligations

  • Election organizers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of voter lists and candidate information.
  • Organizers must use the platform for lawful election purposes only.
  • Organizers must comply with applicable laws governing elections in their jurisdiction.
  • IRU Vote is not responsible for the content or conduct of any election held on the platform.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts.
  • Use the platform to conduct fraudulent or deceptive elections.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform data without written permission.
  • Impersonate another person or organization.
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and trademarks on the IRU Vote platform are the property of IRU Business Group Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

IRU Vote provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IRU Business Group Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct that compromises the integrity of an election. Users may also close their accounts at any time by contacting our support team.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from the use of the IRU Vote platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
