IRU Vote ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by IRU Business Group Ltd, based in Gahanga, Kicukiro, Kigali, Rwanda. We are committed to protecting the personal information of all users, voters, and organizations that interact with our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Data may be shared with trusted service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., hosting, email delivery), strictly under confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect the integrity of an election.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security audits. All vote records are stored with tamper-evident mechanisms to ensure integrity. However, no system is 100% secure, and we encourage users to maintain strong passwords and report suspicious activity immediately.
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Election records and audit logs may be retained for a period defined by the organising body or applicable legal requirements. Account data is deleted upon request once there are no pending obligations.
